Six days and counting, 'til H-day.
And he's growing and growing. We though boxers were sort of small. Well, medium sized at least. At the currend rate, Hubert will be an elephant by christmas, the ears do point in that direction. But something is missing...
The heat here on the plains of Östergötland is almost like the Serengeti by now, the grass is no longer green. And the puppies are mostly sleeping. Huberts brother Härje fell asleep in the water bowl and nearly drowned himself repeatedly.
We are making preparations for the arrival, looking at what rooms to cut off to make the apartment manageable. The living room will be off limits at first, we've decided.

Is this just a sign of curiosity and independence, or does he recognise us?
He is still the same little guy now as he was first time we met him, likes to do his own thing and is a bit calmer then the rest of the pack.
Mostly he enjoys fighting and sleeping next to his white broter, we have spent guite some time out there with the pups now and I ( his fostermom) thinks he recognises me...
Today the puppies are 7 weeks old and in Sweden you have to wait until the puppies are 8 weeks before you can take them from their mother. This is all according to the Swedish Kennelclub regulations.

Well thats all for now as you can se he has fallen asleep in the red foodbin again.
